America Must Nurture Green Technology is a documentary which will detail the critical need for America at large to realize the solution to our nation’s chronic unemployment is to transform “blue and white collar” unemployed workers to “green collar” employed workers. The ramifications of this paradigm shift are numerous. If we are to accomplish this on a national scale, these workers will need large, medium and small companies with “green “contracts to work for. Economic and emotive support for these companies is a must both from the government and the public. The companies will have to train their new workers at their new jobs. We will interview CEO’s and upper management from companies who are already forging a path towards a green economy to find out how they got started, what has happened to them in the recent past and what their future holds. Also, we will hear their opinions as to what steps America must take to make this transformation from high unemployment to high employment a reality on the scale we need as a nation to re-establish ourselves as leaders to the rest of the world.
